An association membership gives you the benefit of reducing or eliminating any out-of-pocket costs that may be associated with ambulance service from Bloomsburg EMS after your insurance carrier has been billed.
We are grateful for any and all support. We use these monies to make purchase of new equipment, ambulance upgrades, facility improvements and community education/outreach.

A membership subscription is meant to reduce or eliminate any out of pocket cost, after your insurance is billed. Your insurance will be billed for the treatment and transport that is received. You will not be responsible for any portion that is not covered except for the copay, if there is one.
Your membership will cover treatment and transportation by Bloomsburg EMS and our cooperative partners such as Greater Columbia Medical, Nescopeck EMS and Elysburg EMS. However, we cannot guarantee that other outside agencies will honor your membership to Bloomsburg EMS.
No. There are very few exceptions, but the membership will cover the out-of-pocket expenses through most commercial or government insurances except for a copay, if there is one.
For those ages 62 and older; it is $40 per year per person. For those 18 to 62 it is $50 per year. Anyone in your household that is under 18 years old is covered with your membership.
The membership will cover from July 2023 to July 2024
No. The membership only applies to out of pocket costs after your insurance company is billed. The membership does not take the place of an insurance plan and will not cover the expenses of treatment and transport without insurance.
