About our service
Bloomsburg EMS is always looking to welcome experienced talent as well as mentor those new to the EMS family. Bloomsburg EMS is a 911 only emergency service dispatched under the East Central Emergency Network.
Bloomsburg EMS is part of the Seven Mountains EMS region in central Pennsylvania. A Progressive region with progressive medical direction allowing the highest level of care for our patients.
We offer in house training at all levels of certification. Health care is only a 10% contribution from the employee. Additional insurance coverages are available from AFLAC and State Farm at a discounted cost.
Operate as eight, twelve, sixteen, or 24 hour shifts at one of our two stations. Experience an EMS environment that covers urban cities to small towns, Interstate highways to local farming roads, or an historic downtown to bustling industry. We also staff many of the events that occur throughout the year at the Bloomsburg Fair Grounds and Bloomsburg University.

A-EMT – Are you an A-EMT and your service isn't progressive enough to let you put your education into practice? We welcome the change and look to towards A-EMT's as part of the future of pre-hospital medicine.
Paramedics – Operate on cutting edge of the EMS system with state of the art equipment and progressive protocols.
